Coriaceous leaves with axillary domatia. Contains a different but similar compound to cafamarin which is not bitter (D'Ornano 1967). Different fruits and leaves between Mauritius and Reunion types. Blooms in Mauritius between November-December, fruits from April to August (same as C. macrocarpa) |
