Small obovate leaves (apex rounded), rounded (vs. distinctly apiculate) calyculi lobes and pedicellate fruits (Davis 2010) - in Davis 2010, differs from P. semsei by its pedicellate fruits (vs. sessile).in Leroy 1981, treelet 2.5 m, monopodial growth of long axis, deciduous leaves, new twigs finished with a single inflorescence, numerous internodes of 1-5 cm length. rounded (vs. distinctly apiculate) calyculi lobes and pedicellate fruits (Davis 2010) - flowers terminal, sub-sessile or pedicel <1mm, anthers not exerted, fruit minutely puberulous, pedicellate contrary to P. semsei (fruits sessile). in Leroy 1981, the fruits are cut like C. racemosa. |
