Others informations

in Leroy 1962: a sub-shrub about 1 m high, deciduous leaves, membranous, at the end of short branches hairless. In Leroy: tiny differences between P. benghalensis, P. cochinchinensis, P. horsfieldanus and P. mabesae. For Davis: similar to P brassii but leaves, corolla and fruits almost consistently glabrous. According to Elmer in Leroy 1962: single axillary or terminal flowers, anthers included, greenish (mature?) and dry fruit turning brownish as they age, obovoid-globular, finally hairless, didymous. |
