in Sivarajan et al. 1992: shrub with pubescent younger parts. Leaves apparently bifarious, membranous, glabrous, drying black, acute or subacute at apex, cuneate or attenuate at base, without domatia, petiole 5-8 mm, glabrous. Stipules truncate, shortly aristate at apex, 1 mm long, glabrous with colleters at base within. confounded with P. fragrans but terminal flowers on short shoots. in Sivarajan et al. 1992: flowers white, usually borne with leaves, solitary or occasionally 2-3 in every axil and at the tips of branches, susessile. Corolla slightly pubescent outside, stamens inserted below the throat, anthers sessile, tips exerted. |
